Forth Valley College is a leading provider of further and higher education offering a wide range of courses and training opportunities. FVC welcomes approx 13,500 students per academic session with 94% of learners progressing to further studies or employment upon completion of their course. They were Scotland’s first regional college with state-of-the-art campuses across the central belt in Alloa, Falkirk and Stirling.

Apprenticeships

Modern Apprentices get the skills they need through a combination of on the job training and college study to achieve their industry recognised qualification. They can look forward to lots of hands-on practical training and the support of both their employer and the College.

Forth Valley College has excellent training facilities and workshops with well-equipped teaching rooms, high specification laboratories, simulated plants and all the latest technology.

Working with Industry

Forth Valley College serves the needs of many industries including the Oil and Gas and Petrochemical sectors. The college has specialised industrial training facilities, including a purpose build industrial training plant, and has an excellent reputation with industry, providing training for over 150 companies in the UK.

The College has a dedicated training centre which delivers training in the areas of administration, business skills, Comp’Ex, NEBOSH, IOSH, REHIS, First Aid, Management, Oil and Gas and Laboratory Sciences.
