Agile

Agile in simple terms is a way of working that focuses on flexibility, collaboration and customer feedback. It originated as a software development approach which allowed teams to accelerate product development and obtain customer feedback faster.

Agile involves breaking a project into smaller, more manageable parts (increments), which allow us to continuously assess progress (project iterations) and responding to change more efficiently.

  • Adaptability: Helps organisations adapt to market changes and regulatory requirements faster.
  • Customer Focus: Ensures that the products and services developed meet the actual needs of customers.
  • Improved quality: Regular iterations, testing and feedback cycles help identify and mitigate risks earlier, ensuring higher quality products and services.

Examples in Action

  • Using agile methodologies to manage a software project that requires frequent updates.
  • Applying agile principles in personal project management to adapt quickly to changes.

Tips for Improvement

  • Learn about different agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.
  • Participate in agile training workshops or simulations.
